Information in the Heart....a Chrysalis

The human embryonic Heart begins beating approximately 21 days after fertilization. It will then beat 115,000 times & pumps about 2,000 gallons of blood every day…. Till it stops. An electrical system regulates your heartbeats rhythm. A heart ‘Beat’ is the sound of the valves opening and closing.  Our Hearts are around 1 pound and the size of our fist.  This incredible organ can beat even when its disconnected from our body. If you were to stretch out your blood vessel system, it would extend over 60,000 miles. Heart cells, mostly for contracting, take a long time to divide (3 years to replace if your body is in balance), which means heart cancer is extremely rare.

Nestled between our Heart and our sternum is our Thymus, also called the Seat of our Soul, it is the nursery for our Immune system…as we age it decreases in function.  This magical training center is where our Heart Chakra or Energy Center is resting…The Thymus Chakra, all snuggled in the Heart Space, responds especially well to sound therapy, given its proximity to the sternum, which acts as a sound board and amplifier of acoustic vibrations. The Heart can feel like its blossoming & hurts less when its exposed to music and vibration

Meditative states with breath works, where the meditator brings their heart and brain into cohesion, have been proven to boost the Thymus production of Killer T-cells and the immune system.  This is paired with an ‘open hearted’ feeling and a total sense of well being.  Just as a less stressed & happy person has a healthier Heart so too will their thymus be more robust and resilient.

When we experience love and connection thru communication and touch our bodies produce oxytocin…the bonding love potion.

Bringing attention to and nourishing the Heart and Thymus brings dilation, energy, oxygen, and healthy chemicals. Our mental state and these molecular messengers we direct in our body have more to do with our Heart and Thymus Health than we know. To live this way is to live WholeHearted… a Being In Love.
